  • Monday, Aug 11, Introduction to multiscale modeling of the heart
    Instructor: Andrew McCulloch
    Users will be introduced to the basics of cardiac physiology and reaction-diffusion modeling using Continuity
  • Tuesday, Aug 12
    • 8 am to 12 pm Finite element discretization and anatomic mesh fitting
      Instructor: Andrew McCulloch
      Users will be introduced to the basic steps in finite element modeling and mesh fitting.
    • 1 pm to 5 pm Modeling in cardiac electrophysiology
      Instructor: Andrew McCulloch, Roy Kerckhoffs
      Users will be introduced to ionic models for electrophysiology, and finite element models of action potential propagation
  • Wednesday, Aug 13
    • 8 am to 12 pm Modeling cardiac biomechanics and electromechanics
      Instructor: Andrew McCulloch, Roy Kerckhoffs
      Users will be introduced to the modeling capabilities of Continuity for ventricular wall mechanics, cardiac muscle, ventricular stress analysis, and ventricular-vascular coupling.
    • 1 pm to 5 pm Advance Studies Users will be able to model their own problem sets using Continuity.
