SI2011 Computational Cardiac Mechanics
Please contact Prof. Andrew McCulloch if you have any questions or concerns.
Instructors: Andrew McCulloch, Ph.D., Roy Kerckhoffs, Ph.D.
This year, the Continuity track will be available by invitation only to a small group of students who are from collaboratoring labs and/or are experienced Continuity users. This will make it possible for us to focus on advanced methods, new program features that are not typically covered (there are many). It will also be an opportunity to help students with specific problems and to identify new features and methods that are needed.
Enrollment is limited to 6 to 8 students.
If you have a student or post-doc who is interested, please send Prof. Andrew McCulloch a brief nomination email with the name, status and academic background of the student, the goals of his or her project, supporting grant information, the experience s/he has with Continuity including any publications, and what the student would like to accomplish during the week.
If you are not sure if your student or project is suitable, feel free to send us a note anyway and we'll let you know. We will select a group of students with compatible backgrounds and interests. The invitations are sent in the Spring to allow time to customize details of the course and help students prepare during June and July.
