General Information

This track will cover the use of computational libraries such as FETK, SUPERLU, PETSc, and user level programming interfaces such as Pydusa which wraps these more advanced libraries

    Instructor: Tim Kaiser, Jane Ren
    Basic programming models for serial and parallel application design and implementation, given N processors. How to use MyMPI to mix serial and parallel execution of program modules. What the new open source Pydusa can do beyond MyMPI.

  • Wednsday, Aug 6, MC: the parallel adaptive multilevel finite element kernels
    Instructor: Mike Holst, Yuhui Cheng
    How to use and extend MC (Manifold Code) to develop simulation programs in studying hyperelastic bodies, electrostatics and other biophysics and bioengineering problems.

    Instructor: Zeyun Yu
    Structure-based adaptive Mesh generation and refinement using GAMer. The structures may be given by PDB/PQR, or 3D imaging data.
